Liberty 70 Builder's Plate (14A16)

Each Liberty ship had a builders plate fixed to the front of the accommodation block that showed the name of the ship, the hull number and where the ship was built. Two thirds of the plate from the Liberty ship James Eagan Layne has been recovered with the remaining third reconstructed later.
