6 in. Cartridge Case (11A07)
This 6 in. copper alloy cartridge case was manufactured in 1965 and was recovered by a trawler from the seabed off Plymouth. The case is a brass cylinder closed at one end which held the propelling charge and a primer, it is dented along its length and the open end is crushed.
On the base of the case is marked: N5, LOT 816, 1965, ECC
