Remains of a modern 12m long trimaran lie in Shortaflete Creek off the River Yealm.

Type

Modern trimaran yacht

Description

The remains of a modern trimaran yacht have been abandoned in Shortaflete Creek in the River Yealm.  This hulk has been included in the list as an example of the continuation of the practice of hulking boats which are no longer wanted.  In this case the boat was abandoned in a very secluded backwater where it would not be noticed, but sadly makes it very hard to remove.
