Aquanauts Archaeology and Conservation Group teams up with ProMare and the SHIPS Project

The new Archaeological and Conservation Project group at Aquanauts Dive Centre has now teamed up with the SHIPS Project in Plymouth.  The Aquanauts group are investigating some of the many geophysical targets found in and around Plymouth Sound by the SHIPS Project and are then working with them to record and map what they find.  Although the group have only been investigating targets for a few weeks they have made some significant discoveries already.

The new group is run by Aquanauts Instructor John Mellor and will be diving every Wednesday evening with the boat departing from Aquanauts dive centre at 6pm.  Experience is not necessary and basic training is provided.  The cost for each dive is £20 for non-members but only £15 for club members, membership is £50 for 12 months and gives reduced price air, dives and many other benefits.
