Remains of the crabber Karen Marie at Budeaux Wharf on the east bank of the River Tamar.
Motor fishing vessel
This French built crabber was trawling out of Plymouth in the late 1970's until she sank in Sutton Harbour. The vessel was then bought by J. F. Donne and was used by the boatyard for towing and mooring jobs before being laid up and hulked.
Please get in touch if you have any information about this vessel by sending us a message below.
The flattened remains of the hull lie under a mostly intact blue wheelhouse. The keel, floor timbers and lower planking are still visible as is the propeller and propeller shaft when The SHIPS Project photographed the hull in 2020.
Thanks to Allen MacAvoy for identifying this vessel.
